Micronet Systems Announces the Management Buyout of Computerlink Australia

Micronet Systems (Aust) announced today that it had accepted a management buyout of Computerlink Australia, which has returned ownership of the company to its original owners.

Founded in 1979, Computerlink develops and markets point of sale, inventory management and debtor control software for Newsagents, Bookshops, Card & Gift specialty stores and general retail.

All technical and support staff made the move with the new management and the existing support structure and hours will continue unchanged.

Micronet will continue as a reseller for Computerlink software and both companies will continue to deliver integration tools that allow ComputerlinkPOS to work together with the Micronet suite of business software.

A new sales team will be established at the Computerlink Brisbane office to complement the on-going sales from within Micronet.
